About our club
Neighbors, leaders, and problem-solvers.
Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million people who take action on the world’s most persistent challenges. Here in Arlington, that looks like flags on your street on patriotic holidays, a playground built by thousands of volunteers, scholarships for local seniors, and a Friday morning table where friendships are made.
We have a lot of fun along the way. Small “fines” at our meetings raise money for Arlington charities, and every guest speaker gets a book donated in their name to a local school library.

What we do
Service you can see all over Arlington.
Our members give their time, talent, and treasure to projects that make a lasting difference at home and around the world.

Flag Program
More than 1,000 flags fly in six Arlington neighborhoods on six patriotic holidays each year. Subscriptions fund nearly everything else we do.

Dunlop Park Playground
Built by 2,500 volunteers in 1989 and rebuilt in 2005, the playground at J.W. Dunlop Park is our signature community project.

Scholarships
Every year we award college scholarships to Arlington high-school seniors, more than $124,000 to date.

Youth and RYLA
We sponsor local students at Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp and support schools with STEM days, chess clubs, and books.

Community Health
From blood drives with Carter BloodCare to holiday support for local families, we show up where Arlington needs us.

International Service
Through PolioPlus, clean-water projects, wheelchairs, and cataract surgeries, our reach extends far beyond Texas.

The Rotary Foundation
One of the most generous clubs in District 5790.
Our members have given more than $852,000 to The Rotary Foundation, which funds polio eradication, clean water, literacy, and peace projects worldwide. This Rotary year we reached 206% of our giving goal, with per-member giving nearly five times the district average.
